Question The i9 9900K is running at a stable 90 degrees plus whenever I play any sort of first person shooter. Is this normal and if not how do I get this down

Here is the build
  • Asus ROG Strix Z390-E
  • Kraken x62 280mm
  • 850W gold psu EVGA
  • RTX 2060 6GB
  • 32 GB Corsair Vengeance ram
  • Intel i9 9900K

Nothing has been overclocked and I am kind of concerned with how hot this thing runs during any length of gaming. I am somewhat new to this stuff and I'm not exactly sure what to do. Thank you!

I would double and triple check your cooler installation. Also, check your vcore voltage to make sure it's not going too high.

I'm gonna try some new thermal paste later today and I'll check the cooling system. I checked my voltage and it said 1.021V which seemed really low to me but maybe I was looking at the wrong thing. Thank you.
