The impact of three monitors

Hey guys. I've just bought myself a new 980ti and also got another monitor in the hopes of adding it to my already two monitor setup.
Now I use my computer for gaming and I only plan to play games on one of the monitors at 1080 while I use the other two monitors for other things such as netflix and videos etc.
I was wondering if there will be any kind of strain on the graphics card or if my games will be affected in any way negatively from having two other screens running at 1080p while I play games on my 980ti, I know it might seem like a silly question to the more technically savy of you out there but its just the way I want to do things for now with my setup.

Basic desktop apps and even video playback shouldn't put much strain on a high end system like that. If you already have two monitors, you can experiment with what works and what slows things down. Adding one more monitor in and of itself, shouldn't make any difference,it's what you're doing on them. As you may have already found, running games in full screen mode can make the other screens go dark or just not play nice. Using full, borderless window mode can help with multitasking in games that support it.

Yeah I kind of got the idea that this might be the case, i mean i by no means plan to play on multi screen because that does not appeal to me. I suppose the most demanding thing I will be doing on the other screens if maybe watching a live screen or have a companion program for a game running. Other than that basic internet windows, guides and wiki pages and netflix of course. Does this help answer the question more precisely? Thanks for the feedback!
