The Infamous GPU and The Cheap

When I purchased my computer, it was with a GeForce GTX 560 by Inno3D. It was capable of performing 50-60 fps in smaller BF3 maps on ultra settings, whereas on low it would easily go over 100 fps in the biggest maps, and as well in smaller maps.
Now, however, a year later it performs a lot worse, with only 30-40 fps on BF3's ultra (possibly due to new patches - who knows).

When I search for my graphics card on Google, Youtube or engines alike, the results never mirror the GPU I have. For example, searching for "Geforce GTX 560 1GB" on Youtube brings results about all other brands than Inno3D.

I have yet to find ANY websites selling this GPU from the same manufacturer, being Inno3D. Is anyone familiar with why this is the case - that it's so rare?

Also, I am curious, what are some cheap but great GPUs (also prefer cool ones - don't care about noise insofar it's not brain damaging) from the price range of 100 USd to 200 USd? (convert respectively to your own currency). Big thanks if the GPU is sold in any countries close to Scandinavia for cheaper shipping.

That wasn't the question, buddy. I made sure to explicitly highlight the two questions in bold so people wouldn't read the first sentence and reply to it.
Sorry, you've got to read again.

Between $100 - $200 your best option is the 7850. Although look out for big sales for the gtx 660 or the 7870, I have seen both for $199.

Actually, I think "TheBigTroll" did read your post, and that your response to his helpfulness is entirely out of order.

If the FPS you're getting is below-par, that's not a reason to upgrade your graphics card. Fix the problem rather than throwing money at it.

i read your question and answered it. now, throwing money at the problem will work, but there is no reason to do that as a 560 is still pretty good with performance. you just have to squeeze more juice out of it and fix your problems

Blibba, that's irrelevant. I don't care, neither should you, about 'What-if-you' scenarios. I know enough about the functioning of software (having studied graphics development in Java at a university) to use rational thought process, and bring together the pieces, to figure out that more load equals less framerates.

I could do a systematic post where I'd leave out all social and, or irrelevant information, if that should help people stay on topic more. I figured the extra starting sentences would open a discussion relevant to my two main questions, and not divert people's 3 second attention span. I'm sorry about this silly mistake of mine.

Don't take this as an insult either. Help me answer my questions or don't bother wasting your precious time on a slob like myself.

As for Norlag, I was thinking about those GPUs as well. Thanks for the suggestion. Anything that can run games like Battlefield 3 on 50-60 fps (on max) and, or, World of Warcraft on 100 fps approx., should do fine.
I'm not the richest, but given my GPU's aging, I'd want to buy a new card - possibly one that doesn't reach 80-90C on full settings.

First, while I've heard of Inno3d, I don't know anyone who owns one. They're not a well known company. Second, did you ever think that the reason you can't find it on any website is because they don't make them any more? Last time I checked, Nvidia canceled the 560 production last summer. It makes complete sense that you can't find your card anywhere when it's not a popular brand and isn't manufactured anymore. Just stating the obvious here. I'm surprised someone with such a high level of intellect wasn't able to figure this out.

You'll go far in life with this attitude. Word to the wise: Don't bite the hand that feeds you and don't insult the ones who try to help you.

I think it's time for a mod to close this thread.

So your insulting people who are trying to help all while flaunting your "intellect" and yet you can't use google? Or heck its even on the front page: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107.html

bf3 on max at what resolution? what ram and cpu do you have as they will determine things too?

But BF3 on MAX with a $200 ain't going to happen.

There is 1080p on ultra settings, 60fps with either and 7970 or 680 which are both about $450 cards.

No problem, Barto. That did answer the question, and thanks for that.
I'm a novice person when it comes to buying hardware products - not to the actual functioning of the software and hardware.

Haven't ever heard of Inno3D before, myself, only until I opened my case to clean it up, and having read the manufacturer logo.
