The installer checks the NX bit the wrong way

Hi,

I have a Samsung NF310 Netbook with an Atom N550 CPU and 2 GB of RAM with Windows 7 Starter.

The CPU has NX capability but when I try to upgrade to Windows 10 the installer tells me my CPU doesn't have NX. Is there a way to bypass this control ?

Availability of the NX bit is dependent upon the system specifications as well as the CPU. Also, it can be switched on and off in some BIOSes so check the BIOS settings on your computer.

The NX bit is enable in the BIOS (EDB (Execute Disable Bit) Enabled). I also have Ubuntu Linux and the kernel tells that the NX protection is active.

This MS site indicates that (counter-intuitively), disabling NX in the BIOS could work.
