The purpose of this was just curiosity to find more information.
I have a Lenovo ThinkPad T440p. I'm sorry THE LEGENDARY LENOVO T440p a which I have fully upgraded to its max potential. The upgrades were as follows :- (if anyone is interested else jump to the question)
Core i5-4300M => Core i7-4910MQ
4GB DDR3L RAM => 16GB DDR3L RAM
500GB Hard drive => 1TB SSD
Intel Wireless-N 7260, 2x2, Wi-Fi + BT, M.2 Card => Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260, 2x2, Wi-Fi + BT, M.2 Card
T440p trackpad => T450 trackpad
Keyboard (not backlight supported) => Keyboard (backlight supported)
1366768 HD Display => 19201080 FHD IPS Display
So my real question is Has Lenovo ever built CPU upgradable laptop again?
Other upgrades are quite possible but the CPU now coming with laptops are soldered to the motherboard.
Any response would be highly appreciated.
