Hello

I have 4 Razer RGB devices:
  • Tartarus Keypad
  • BlackWidow Keyboard (purchased a few months ago)
  • DeathAdder Mouse
  • Firefly Mouse Pad

All are compatible with Razer Chroma and the lighting was working trouble free on my "old" windows 11 computer.

I built up a new computer last week (windows 11 again). I re-installed Razer Chroma same as before (thank you cloud!). The Chroma Profile applies properly on all 4 devices, however, once in a while, my keyboard lighting turns off. It's only the keyboard and it's not regular (not even every day).

I have tried so far:
- Uninstall/Re-install synapse: no change.
- While the keyboard is off, to exit synapse and re-enter it: no change.
- While the keyboard is off, to change profile in Chroma Studio and re-apply previous: all devices properly reacted, only my keyboard kept black unaffected, although shown as working in the studio.
- While the keyboard is off, to change game and/or app: no change.

I'm out of ideas and would love to hear if anyone had same experience and maybe know what I could try to fix the trouble.

Thanks in advance. :giggle:

WOW! It worked. Could you please explain? Do you know why changing USB port makes a difference?

Now of course I will have to see over time if it keeps going well.

Its a bit hard to pinpoint exactly. Depending on the age of the system there could be usb 2.0, usb 3.0, usb 3.1 etc. Faster data transfer rates thru the ports as they incoporate them into devices. May be the port speed, glitches, with particular ports, Bad fitting cable connections, dust etc, or the device requires faster ports. Not sure with that keyboard. Glad it's fixed. Cheers.
