[SOLVED] "The Medium" keeps crashing with 6900 XT driver timeout ?

The Medium keeps crashing with the driver timing out around usually the same spot. I've tried lowering the graphics and resolution and still the same thing happens. I also had a crash on Black Ops Cold War last night, could be related issues but I'm not sure. Another issue I get is constant stuttering in games too. At 1080p the fps will drop from 200+ to around 100 and back up, but only if I have SAM enabled. If it's disabled then it doesn't seem to stutter. Has anyone got any fixes? I also attached a GPU-z log. Temps are fine, still crashes on a cold boot (left overnight) and straight away open up the game. Tried exiting extra software like discord.

which driver? Roll back a few 21.x.x anything 20.x.x would be a good place to start... find something stable and upgrade until it starts crashing again

Currently on 21.6.2 I tried to 21.6.1. I'll try 20.x.x.

SAM is not really worth using so leave it off.

According to Reddit posts the 21.3 driver doesn't have the timeout issue in The Medium.

How about the rest of your system information ? CPU, PSU, and so on...
