Keep in mind that Bioshock Infinite, while a beautiful game, not too demanding. A GTX 760 easily maxes it out at 1080p. I just tried to check the RPMs, unfortunately nor GPU-Z or Precision X are giving me an RPM reading. And since I'm OCD before I even powered on the on the card I changed the TIM, and I recall the fan connector only using two wires. So there is no RPM signal.

I just played some Far Cry 3. I was having trouble finding the right settings. I gave Geforce Experience a shot, used their optimization tool and was very satisfied. The game looks great and the frame rate stays high. The settings vary from high to very high, SSAO, and AA off.

I generally dislike programs like the Geforce Experience, however I have to say I started using it about 6 months ago and I think it's excellent. The optimization tool has really made a difference in most games I have used it on. It takes the guess work out of fiddling with settings.

Can I ask what card you had prior to the 750ti? I am seriously considering buying one, not so much for the performance as much as the power draw and quietness. I've had my 560ti since new and I have to say it still manages to perform well at 1080p for me, but I was thinking If I could sell that second hand and buy a new 750ti would I get the same performance but for a hell of a lot less power and cooling?

Hey guys

Can you guys check out my thread on my pc build. I need some help choosing the specs. I have posted some specs that I have thought of getting. All I ant is a few minutes of your time please. Any advice/critiques is welcome.

Thanks

^ you may want to post a link to that thread :) I'm sure alot of people are eager to help you out on your rig!

Stickg1 - That is absolutely beautiful. Madly in love with it... sadly though I think I'll be looking towards it for my non APU system. Does the FTW version come with the bcakplate?

Onus - If you're interested, I think galaxy was reverse engineering the PCB to go for a single slot version.(again, I think, can't provide a link either)

Thanks. I'm sorry if I have wasted any of your time. But I thank you

I've had several. The GTX 760 was definitely enough for my needs, but I found it a little hot and loud. I also had a GTX 780 which was pretty overkill but an excellent card none the less.

The FTW model has a dual fan heatsink and might be a larger/custom PCB. I do know it has the larger heatsink, uses a 6pin PCIe power connector, and does not come with a backplate.

Stick changes his video card as often as some people change their underwear.

Hmmm, I've got another incentive to try one of those AM1 boards; it will free up the i5-3570K from Gypsy to put back on my MSI Z77A GD65 Gaming board.

Hey can anyone help me?
I can't login into any part of the site with google+. When I so much as hover over the logo, it changes to a whirling circle, and never changes back. I'm stuck using internet explorer. I tried used the same email as the G+, but it made a brand new account.
