I don't see how a Bith can play music as 8x speed. Unless you record the music and fast forward it...

Sorry, couldn't resist.
I think that the PCI- slots somehow ere set to a setting like 16x-8x or 8x-4x.

WTF indeed. try re installing the drivers? I am helping from experience using geoforce 210's and a g33, so my advice is probably crap.

uninstall all EVGA add-ons in control panel. Go to device manager and uninstall GPU driver from there. ALL OF YOUR VIDEO GAME SETTINGS WILL BE LOST. ALSO THE RESOLUTION WITH BE SCREWED UP. Put in EVGA disk or use an .exe file you should've downloaded from their site before doing this. Update. ta-da.
I don't know why the hell im responding after apparently I don't know the basics about computer, but whatever... Just try not to use my advice and ask someone more skilled in this stuff.

Ok installed the whql driver and all seemed well this morning but for some reason in wow im still only sitting in the 90 fps range and getting drops into the 30's in heavy areas. I shouldnt be getting these dips at all and should be maxing out fps just about all times

THAT, is weird...

Guys, I need help. My H100i led is stuck on PINK. When I pick red, it turns pink after a cold boot and I turn off my PC everyday. In coirsair link, the "H100i LED" Box is just grey and doesnt show a color. I will try to re install link but any suggestions?

Actually I should CHANGE Something there. Its a fix for windows 8. So Im going to the US in a few days InshAllah and I need to know what to do with my PC! Lutfij, the GPU, I should take it out and put it in its box JUST INCASE we end up moving there, my parents will have to come back and ship our stuff so I would pack it cause they would not know how to remove the GPU and all. Can the H100i stay in the case and my HDD....How do I pack that? Or do I just keep it in the PC?

I'd take the mechanical drives out and store them in a backpack/rucksack.

The GPU, yeah definitely remove and pack in its own box. Aside from that the rest of the parts can remain inside the case but I also see you stuffing the inside of the case with some crumpled paper to give it some internal support.

If you are able to get a hold of a packaging shop around your end, try to find some packing peanuts. they are light weight and don't add to shipping weight but they are robust enough to help keep the case intact during those bumpy rides.

I think that covers all the moving parts in your case that are prone to damage :)...? no? 😀

Yeah, GPU and hard drive take out and put in original packaging and carry with you. The rest of the PC needs to be stuffed with paper, bubblewrap, packing peanuts, etc. and put back in the case's original box with the hard styrofoam corners. That's your best bet. You could ship the GPU and HDDs too if you don't want them taking up space in your carry-on, just pack in a separate box securely.

GPU I can NOT take with me. The case, I kept its original packing with the 2 huge foam things and the big sleeve like back that the AIR 540 was wrapped with so I have that and that will go into the Air 540 box and thats the best I could do....as for the HDD, Wont they bother me about it in the airport and how do I Pack it for my backpack?

So is anyone looking at Z97 boards? Looks like with the addition of M.2 support a lot of manufacturers are including a slot on the board instead of an mSATA slot. Which is kind of a bummer because I have an mSATA SSD already.

I've seen some great previews from MSI, ASUS, and Gigabyte. Haven't seen ASRock's new line-up yet but Newegg has allowed pre-order of some boards that will ship on the 11th. So looks like that's release day.

I'm assuming this is for the new haswell series??? Or something else, I have only been looking at z87 boards lately.
