That's the problem. Normal ATX psu's won't fit. I don't think there is a way to make the mobo to accept and use all 8gb of ram if I can find some is there?

I know, but the mobo doesn't support it.
Current Bus:399(It is in the CPU-Z bar thing on my sig)
Memory

4 GB
Amount: 4 GB
Speed: PC2-6400 MB/sec
Memory upgrade information
Dual channel memory architecture
Two 240-pin DDR2 DIMM sockets
Supported DIMM types:
PC2-5300 (667 MHz)
PC2-6400 (800 MHz)
Non-ECC memory only, unbuffered
Supports 2GB DDR2 DIMMs

This part says I can use 1333 RAM, or am I misreading it?

Memory sockets: 2 x DDR2
Front side bus speeds: 1333/1066/800 MHz

Here is the official HP page for my pc.

The InWin mITX case I've got has a PSU that isn't 80+, but got a good review from c.hegge over at Hardware Insights. One note of caution, he did find some Samxon caps in it, but they should be ok if it is a lightly-loaded office PC. Mine pulls around 117W from the wall when playing Guild Wars, so I'm not stressing it.

Youre misreading it. That's the bus speed, not the ram speed.

Would like some opinions about the Fractal Designed R4 case.

Just a few questions, pretty much the case was designed to be quiet, and simple looking right? But I understand with quietness, that means airflow would suffer for that?

How's the airflow? The airflow kinda concerns me, because I'm worried about my hardware inside getting super hot, like my ASUS 780 ti. Should I really worry about the airflow? and the amount of heat my card gives out over a long period of time of gaming?

How would I fit all my fans? I have 3 120's, 1 120 in the CPU heatsink, and 2 140's. I looked over it, and it doesn't have a fan hub, or a controller to hold all of them, so how would I put them into use? My motherboard can't hold all of them. Buying a fan controller? Or something else?

I wanted one just for the media keys :)

@Daniel Sudakov, Those cases can perform quite well and because of the design you can fill it with fans and give up some of the noise performance for cooling.

All the cards, I have used recently aside of a GTX 650ti(does not push much heat so it does not matter.) have been direct exhaust so I can not comment from extra experience, but based on owning the first Define case, the cooling was quite good.

Well, I switched back to the Phenom 2 x4 965BE and Gigabyte ga-78lmt-s2p. Thanks Windows 8.1, for making it seamless with no installation required!!

The plan is to sell the i3 2130 and my other intel motherboard (MSI z77ma-g45) and buy an fx-8320 from Microcenter for $110. It will run at stock clocks until I get a new motherboard.

But for now, the Phenom 2 x4 965 BE is happily running along, overclocked at 4.0ghz. Only took 3 tries to get the Vcore, NB voltage, and CPU/NB voltage set correctly.

Well, that was short lived. After 15 mins of PRIME95 the north-bridge hit 120c and fried the board. Luckily the CPU was still alright. I made the trek out to Microcenter and picked one of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128514 open box for $79.99. It is a great board and I'm very happy with it. I'm back at 4.0ghz no problem with the north-bridge at 52c max. I will soon be picking up an fx-8320 to replace the phenom and overclocking that as well. I will need to get a new cooler at that point as well because I'm still using the awful H60 I got for $17.

Yeah, I guess. But, I got a $130 motherboard for $80 and instead of getting a boring locked locked i5, I get to try out an 8320 which hopefully will be fun and new. I'm looking forward to it. So, I guess it is not all bad. I've never really had an AMD based main rig for any long period of time so this will be fun.

Not really... OC'ing a Phenom II to 4GHz on a board with no heatsinks on the VRM is kinda asking for it.

Needless to say, the 990FXA is quite the replacement. Good choice... :)

Lol, I know. I was expecting to get maybe 2 weeks out of that board. Seems like it ended up being more like 2 hours. And yes, I REALLY like the 990FXA. I'm excited to get an 8320 in it and see what it can do.
