I'd rather not share my location here, but yeah it was pretty easy. Just drive forward around a small turn of cones, and then backwards. Then the driving portion was a simple square around the backroads. The girl before me actually hit the cones but fortunately I practiced for like an hour the day before and managed to do it (with my backup camera).

Obviously now I'm a much better driver.

Lol I just drove. I feel more comfortable....All i have to do is always look left right left, scan, check mirrors, stay at the speed limit and I think Im good......

On another note, I dont think my parents support my pilot aspirations. My dad always shuts me down when I talk about starting my flight lessons...which I would like to do this week....They say just get a car, but man I need to fly! :sigh:

I agree with them. Put the pilot stuff on the back burner and go for it later in life when you have the money and are comfortably in a career. Buy a car. That will make you a way happier teenager.

Also, just build a flight sim setup to get your flying needs met.

I actually went to both nights. Saturday I had an amazing view but I was a little too close to the ledge for my comfort. I was on the very upper deck in the first row.

This was the view from my seat:

It was pretty sweet but the entire time I tried not to fall off the ledge or drop my phone, or spill my drink. All three of those things would have been bad.

You can't. It'll hit the reverse lockout and it will not let you.

If you actually got it into reverse by disabling the lockout, you would you ruin the transmission at minimum. Probably also the transaxle, both CV shafts, and probably some front suspension stuff too. If you did it on a car worth less than like 8k it would total the car.

Yeah, my car knowledge is little XD I drive an automatic (2009 Accord) and have for drive gears, D, D3, 2, and 1. Seeming as I'm always in D, when would I use the other three gears? I read that 1 and 2 are for going downhill, such as in the snow. Would D3 give more torque at low speeds?

Those gears just limit the transmission to those gear. 1 meaning it cannot shift out of 1. 2 meaning it can only use 1 and 2. D3 meaning it can only use gears 1,2,3.

None of them give more torque at all vs. normal old D. That is impossible because they are all just the same gears you use anyway. Some cars have "snow" modes which retard the throttle response, basically faking more torque. My mom's old Volvo had that.

Even for snow driving, it would be more hassle to mess with the gears for an automatic driver than it would be for the driver to just focus on the road.

modern cars only have those options so you can avoid a gear if one fails and you need to drive the car to the shop. It also makes changing the trans fluid easier to be able to hold the car in gears.

The new star wars movie was amazing! When it comes out, I'm going to pick it up. I actually saw it in 3D, and it wasn't that bad. Seeing the big ships coming out from the screen was awesome. Not going to spoil anything!

I saw it in 2D. I'm not so fond of putting glasses over my glasses. But I agree that it was fantastic! December 16, 2016, a standalone movie is being released called Star Wars: Rogue One which takes place between Episodes 3 and 4. It revolves around how the Death Star plans were obtained by the Rebels.

I saw it yesterday also, loved it. I really want to go see it on IMAX 3D and will definitely do so during the break.

Oh the glasses weren't bad. I was happy they weren't those red/blue paper glasses haha.

I did, I told him just look online or at the copyrights if he forgets.

I always thought there needs to be some standard when talking about these movies. I'm so tired of saying "Episode 4" and then having someone say, "4th made or the 4th in the series". Or saying "Episode 3" and then "Do you mean the 3rd made or Episode 3? Or the 3rd made which is episode 6?" Why George Lucus must you have made naming conventions difficult.

You must not have seen a 3D movie in recent years I'm guessing? Ever since the 3D revival the glasses have always been black, not red and blue.
