I don't get that many messages anymore, but when I was at college, I would easily clear 6000 messages a month every month. Now I only do about 1000 or so.

I use my phone for music when I drive, but that's just as bad really. I try to get all setup before I start moving. Which reminds me, I need to replace the front passenger door speaker.

It must be really heavy I'm guessing?

Yeah, and just not set up for the power at all. It is worthless to race from a dig because it'll just spin the tires. You can't even put a good sticky tire on it. If you put anything more than a sticky street tire (still worthless for launching this car) you'll ruin the transmission. People generally get 10-20 passes on drag radials with a Hellcat before the transmission needs rebuilding.

It is a great car to have if you want to brag about the HP your daily driver has, but as for actually using it, it is not the best performer, ESPECIALLY for the price.

Cool I'll tell all the people I know that they don't know what they're talking about. Because I kind of assumed they really didn't, they act like they know so much about cars but really that's why I came to you just so I can burn them.

At least I admit I don't know cars.

I've never been able to figure that out either. My car has the ability to stream music from my phone to bluetooth and even then it's extremely difficult to change albums when driving. Although I also like that my car and my phone both have voice-to-text features and that makes that easy.

I dont like dodge.

I test drove a Dart - it was very nice but very small interior especially for a big guy like me. But my next car is definitely going to be either a Ford Fusion or a '16 Malibu.

I don't do luxury cars. Not worth it in my opinion. In 6 months when we move, we are probably going to pick up a 2012+ CPO c300 4matic Benz for my GF.

My speed6 IS a performance car. 350whp,soon to be more. AWD. VERY quick car. I plan to daily it for a while longer. I will be starting a new job soon that pays ALOT more money so I will be able to mess with cars a bit more and hopefully buy/build something properly fast. Details would be 350ci (5.7L) minimum V8 American (probably chevy/ford), RWD of course, 275 radial tire in the back or bigger, probably fuel injected.

My car has bigger turbo (vs small stock one), bigger injectors, full boltons (intake/exhaust/etc.), Accessport stage 2+ tune, cattless downpipe, bigger intercooler.

Gunit - Id say get the Malibu..I like the interior more than the Fusion. Both are really nice cars though. We used to rent one when we drove up to northern cali but with the tesla its so much better XD

Tiny - Good luck with the new Job! Also that benz is nice! Tbh I wouldnt know what car parts are good..Like I said I like performance and Luxury, Yet, simplicity. So a tesla would be perfect for me lol xD But id also like an audi S5 or whatever (Obviously not now, just dreaming 😛 )

My Mazda would walk a Tesla, and actually I have on the highway before 😛

My plan for the car I plan to build, will that it should be faster than any other car on the street that you might see from day to day, including top end supercars. And I do not plan to spend alot of money on it. Finally got my GF to come around with the idea.

Awesome! How much would you spend alltogether on it? And when you say build a car, what about the body? How do you do that?

And where'd you learn all about cars?

WHATEVER DUDE!!! 😛 Teslas 155mph is fast enough for me. Perfect speed with great looks and luxury XD Id get a P90D with ludicrous mode!!!

My Speed6 still has the 150mph limiter but without the limiter it'll do 175 before 6th gear tops out.

When you "build a car" you start with a shell (body and frame) and then do the engine and drive train all yourself. I will likely use a foxbody mustang as they are cheap and easy to work with.

I learned working on cars with my dad/friends. My dad was a mechanic all through college in the 70s to pay for it. At my parents house we have a full mechanics set of tools including engine hoist, and even at 63 years old my dad still changes all the family's cars oil and does all repairs himself. He is a chemical engineer (P.E.) and works for the government (NSA/DoD) but he still works on motorcycles as a hobby, but has not done professional paid mechanic work since college. He also owned several interesting cars over the years. Everything from a completely rally spec Mitsubishi Cordia turbo, to an autocross ready S2000, to his current Toyota Camry daily driver.

I guess I learned form an early age just helping him. I even had to properly change the oil on his car by myself before I was allowed to get my license. I did my first engine swap when I was 16 on my honda.

Hahaha I know your speed 6 is an awesome car im just playing xD

What kind of trouble? The seat belt recall or what cause my dad got that fixed when he went to the service center....

I always follow teslas news but whats going on?

PS: If I dont reply, Im out running 2 miles lol.
