Honestly though, here my whole thing. I'm not out to crush anyone's dreams, but offer realistic alternatives. If you want to make money in aviation, either work for a giant conglomerate like Boeing, where you can work your way through the ranks, or go private. You're better off working for an FBO (fixed base operator) and gaining experience in that area, particularly management. Some of the private aviation companies that my firm works with are *LOADED*. We work with this one company called Atlantic Aviation and they have terminals in like 15 airports and these things are palaces.

OK so maybe commercial aviation may not be the way to go, but there's still tons of other ways to make money in aviation, and like I said - private aviation and especially development you can make a ton of dough. And with that you can easily afford to fly as a hobbyist.

The point of working is to support yourself. If you cannot support yourself then you are homeless and anyone would take a job that isn't their favorite over homelessness any day of the week.

Just do what I have said this whole time. Go to college and get a good job that works in the aviation industry (Aerospace engineer) and then fly in your free time because you have a solid income and can afford to do so.

Funny story. My GF and I went to brunch this passed weekend at a very popular spot downtown and a pilot sat at the bar next to us. He was in town to do some training on the flights sims and he had some VERY interesting things to say.

I want something smaller and decent on gas. Tacoma sized. It would be permanent. Might split daily driver duty with the speed6, might not.

An f250 is way too big and unnecessary and a Duce and a Half would just be ridiculous.

It'll just be towing a 3000lb car on a 2 axle car trailer. No off-roading, no pulling anything more than that.

it'd be 3500lbs-4000lbs at very most. 2 axle car trailer. Looking for something under like $10k-$8k. No diesel. Preferably V6 and RWD/AWD solid rear axle probably. I have towed cars before with uni-body vehicles (VW Tuareg) and while fine, just does not feel as grounded as towing with a solid rear axle. Not out of the question though.

I dont really like heli's....Id say get a 2016 RAM 2500 😀 Lol my Uncle bought one of those "Because it goes well with the M4" Lmao. Tiny what did the pilot say?

Anyway Im sitting here looking at my PC thinking....Man I should get a 980TI, Another 8gb of ram, 250gb samsung Pro SSD, and a bunch of new fans xD Nahhhhh.

I want a 980TI and a 4K monitor but can't afford either at the moment.

you can get gmt800 series chevy/gmc 99-07 for pretty inexpensive now and they are super reliable with the 5.3l v8s. tacomas are nice and all but at the end of the day the v8 trucks get the same mpg and have a ton more power and space.

Gunit - If I Save up another 100$, ill have enough for a 980Ti and a 24INCH dell 4k...But Id rather get a 27inch so Ill need 200$ more. I have enough for the 980ti with a lot more to play with 😀

I need to decide if I will ditch the speed6 and daily the truck so I have one less car or if I will keep the speed6 and buy a tow vehicle separately.

If I do the first, I will probably buy a Honda Ridgeline. Can easily tow the car trailer no problem and would be an excellent daily driver. This will save insurance as I will only have one car.

If I do the second, I will probably try to spend no more than $4000 on the truck as it will mostly just sit around and tow a car every week or two. In this case I will probably buy whatever cheap first gen Tundra I can find.

I do not do Chrysler products.

The Pilot was super cool. He was in his 40s and in town to do some flight sim stuff. He seems really cool. He was ex military (air force for 15 years he said) and he was trying to get his commercial license to fly privately owned airplanes for high profile people. He said there was no chance he would ever do major airline flying. He said they pay you nothing and it is completely miserable. He also said that about the only way to be an airline pilot is to be ex Air Force. He was a really cool guy and I enjoyed talking to him.

I've had 24" 1080P forever and I very badly want to upgrade to a 27" 1440P or 4K but I'm not finding any 1440P panels from any decent manufacturers in my price range at the moment. But I am thinking of getting an Enthoo Pro for my Dark Knight rig and Newegg has a pretty decent deal on it right now.

They made junk cars forever and it finally caught up with them.

That plus during the economic crisis GM purged all the brands they felt were no longer profitable - Pontiac, Hummer, Saab, Oldsmobile, and several European and Australian brands I can't think of at the moment.

The new 200 seems like a solid car. I rented a 300 and really liked it, but for the price, yeah there's definitely better that you can get. I wouldn't touch Fiat or Smart Cars.
