[SOLVED] The microphone on my earphones stopped working just on my PC (works on PS4 and Mobile).

I use my 3.5 mm JBL earphones on my PC with a splitter (one female to two males). While playing Warzone, my microphone just stopped working. More precisely, it started producing such a low sound that it couldn't be picked up by my teammates, I say that because I increased the bass level in the settings and my voice could be heard just a tiny bit louder (and yes, the microphone level is at 100%). I tried different 3.5 mm earphones, nothing. I tried a different splitter, again nothing. Furthermore, I tried switching between the back (motherboard) and front (case) ports, still nothing. Also, my earphones work perfectly on my PS4 and on my phone. What in the world happened?

Have you tried any other headset or mic? Phone would not be using the splitter and neither does the PS4 so issue must be with the connection to that.
