This is all so very disappointing... Super frustrated with the monitor market this year. This is a significant step back from what was supposed to come out last year, but never did.

Screen tech is taking a pretty big step backwards with this really disappointing CES. We are still waiting on the good monitors that were showed off LAST YEAR to come out, and the ones shown as "new" for this year are nowhere near as good spec wise as the stuff they showed off. I am wondering what happened to this industry over the last year.

Weird, yeah I thought these monitors specs would be a lot better than this. Shouldn't 4K, HDR and high framerates start becoming the norm by now? These monitors are still using HDMI 1.4 (from 2009) and display port 1.2 (from 2010), that is getting to be some incredibly old technology. Definitely frustrating.

Exactly. I won't be buying a new monitor or upgrading from my current PC until I can have at least 1440p with wide color gamut, HDR-10 and preferably Dolby Vision, with 100 Hz or better and with Gsync. It's just not worth it otherwise. I find myself playing more games on my PS4 Pro for this very reason. Higher framerates on PC is nice, but the image quality (especially lighting) isn't nearly as good. Been absolutely loving playing Assassin's Creed Origins in HDR.

I use a multi monitor setup and would love a curved 48:9 monitor which would remove all bezels. 7680x1440P @144Hz would be great :) Yes I'm only dreaming. I'll never get rid of the bezels.

lol considering I have the original asus 23" 120hz monitor from 2010 8 flipping years old still games better than any 60hz monitor out there agree with none12345 that 120hz should be standard in PC monitor industry even videos and workloads is smoother cleaner on 120hz and up.

Agree with everyone here screaming out loud at the main manufacturers for giving us an extremely disappointing start to 2018. 120Hz 4K OLED gaming monitors were supposed to be out last year, yet here we are looking at antiquated tech in supposedly 'new' monitors and TVs. So damn pissed right now...ugh!

Wow, the monitor market has regressed from last year's CES. 1080p, 60Hz, non-HDR monitors are the norm for yet another year? TV and smartphone displays keep marching forward. Computer monitors have been stagnant for years. I think I'll buy a low-lag TV instead of a monitor.

I wish there was a way I could do this on the down-low but:
The title for both monitors on the table for Asus states "Asus ProArt PQ22UC". I assume the second one is the MB16AP.
