With the introduction of its 2 GHz Celeron, Intel has undertaken a general overhaul of its processors, because this low-cost model is now based on the Northwood core. This means that the new model not only heats up less but is also more powerful. Furthermore, the conversion to 0.13 µm might allow for extreme overclocking once again - we really pushed the new processor to the limit this time...
