Figured, thx for confirming this, have a nice day!Hey there,
I think you're right. Having just looked there, I see no option to record the webcam. From desktop, yes. From Webcam, no, not as far as I can see.
Now, it is in beta, but the new version is coming out in a matter of days. Check back then to see if the option returns.
Hey man! So I had Broadcast before installing the beta, uninstalled it and installed it again using the app, still no option to record it? Did you actually manage to record the webcam?Hey there,
Quick update for you. Whilst tricking around with the app, I discovered that on the home screen, you can choose to download Nvidia Broadcast, kinda like an add-on. So, you just install it on top of the app. It then gives you the options t choose webcam etc.
Let me know how that goes.
How have you established that? Not that I want to broadcast, but when I open Broadcast up from with the Nvidia App, it gives me the option to select camera and away you go.Yeah it doesn't work like that, Broadcast worked as intended with GForce Experience but not with the new Nvidia Beta App
Opening Nvidia Broadcast with or without the Nvidia App is irrelevant, what matters is the Overlay, there is no Overlay option to select broadcast as a webcam source, Broadcast acts as a webcam source not as a broadcasting tool per se, the Overlay needs to have an option to where you can select Broadcast as the source of your webcam, which does not exist at this time, if you manage to record your gameplay with a webcam using the new Nvidia App ''''Overlay''''' please do tell, using broadcast really is kind of irrelevant the point here is there is no Overlay option to add your webcam, with or without Broadcast. How have you established that? Not that I want to broadcast, but when I open Broadcast up from with the Nvidia App, it gives me the option to select camera and away you go.
