The Core 2 Duo CPUs are very attractive, but I'm wondering if the e4300 (1.8ghz, 800MT fsb, x9 multiplier) will end up being the 805D of the Core 2 Duo series.
With this low FSB, any P965 or 975X board should easily be able to whack the FSB to 266 (1066) and have an instant e6600 with a little less cache, and the higher multi means that any more overclocking from there has a larger influence for the same FSB increase.
I'd also be willing to bet on this CPU being pretty cheap.
Is it worth waiting for?
