The titan cooler GTX 970 from Nvidia doesn't actually have the short GTX 670/760 PCB, why? I mean it is a reference card right? so then why does it not have a reference PCB?

EVGA ACX 1.0 970 has a reference PCB, the PNY XLR8 GTX 970 has a reference PCB, the regular Zotac GTX 970 has a reference PCB The Asus Turbo GTX 970 has a reference PCB. shall I go on? just search up on Google(or Bing) reference GTX 970 pcb and you will see the 670/760 PCB.

Its not the same pcb as a 670/760 despite it having the same physical dimensions.

I understand its not exactly the same but, waterblocks and coolers that fit on the reference GTX 760/670 will fit just fine on the 970. of course the Cores of each GPU are much different from each other. anyways that wasnt my point, I was proving to you that the 970s reference PCB is the short PCB that looks exactly the like the 760's and 670's so why does the Nvidia titan cooler 970 have a 980 PCB

Nvdia has used the same blower style cooler for years for there reference boards with some just a different color. You have not proved anything, a 970 does not have a 980 pcb, the power requirements and vram amount are different.

oh wait my bad the 980 has a different PCB from the titan cooler 970, but the Titan Cooler 970 doesnt have the actual reference PCB, trust me when I say this. I have a 970(PNY XLR8 GTX 970) with a reference PCB and I know that the reference 970 has the exact same PCB as the 670 and 760, take a look:

670 pcb:

760:

also the 660ti has almost the same PCB as well:
