The NZXT H440 or the Phantom 530?

Hey guys,

So straight to the point. Both cases look really nice in my opinion, so besides that, which case has better functionality? I'm going to be getting an air cooling setup. Mainly I'm look for which one has better air cooling and which of the cases you would get if it were you.

If you want an optical drive then get the 530.

Cooling wise they'll be about the same. Same size, same fans.

I prefer the Phantom line, its always been a solid performer. The h440 isn't that old, design wise, but to some it's major drawback is lack of choice. You are forced to use an external optical drive, and for some this is a roadblock, especially when trying to install OS etc. With the Phantom, the drives are hidden, and can even be removed if you are that against having one. But the option remains.

What is nice about the h440 is the hidden psu. Doesn't matter if the colors don't match, the lettering is upside down, etc, its all hidden.

Airflow is about the same, both cases are decent there, both have good cable management, fan locations, options etc.

Pretty much it'll be personal preference
