The old game of trains

Around 12 years ago I played a computer game in which fought each other trains. I remember that the trains were cannons and rocket launchers, and you had to destroy the enemy's depot. Yet there were insects that you clicked and you've got the money.

Don't know. But my story is: About 32 years ago I played Tank Wars, where we all had tanks in a maze and tried to blast each other. It could only be played around lunch time on Friday, as it used up most of the power of our university mainframe.

People tended to use mildly obscene names. One day someone closed a port without logging off, and the university registrar got that port next and found himself in the raunchy scoreboard. That was the end of Tank Wars.
