Hi all,
I just installed a new SSD on my desktop (a custom build) and installed a clean version of Windows 10. I needed to do this because my machine was stuck on an older build of Windows and could not update.
The installation seemed to go fine. I am booting off the new drive, and it's updated. However, when I try to run Office from the old drive, I get the error message "The operating system is not presently configured to run this application." I tried going through appwiz to do a repair, but the only things it sees are programs on the new drive. I get software through my employer, but it's limited so I cannot just reinstall MS Office. Any assistance is appreciated! Thanks.

Thanks SkyNetRising and Captaincharisma. Rats. Now, I was able to link pdf documents to my old Adobe Reader software, and they open fine. And there's just too much stuff on my old HDD, or my new SSD is too small :) so I cannot really transfer an image to it.

its still worth a shot. i was able to sucesfully load an image that was made on a PC with a 1TB HDD on a PC that had a 250-500GB HDD. imaging is not like cloning where it makes an exact copy of the drive
