The Patch and 8+ in 1 family????????????

Hi All,

Just a small question.
Has the patch also given a solution for more then 8 persons on one
lot??
I do have it, because of the jumpbug and all, but now I am playing
with a family where both the male and female have the familywish.
They have 6 kids right now, but his biggest wish keeps coming back, he
wants 10 kids.
But I wouldn't wan't to risk a gamecrash, so I would appreciate your
help here 🙂)

The fact that a sim wants to have 10 kids doesn't means that they all have
to live in the same house...move the oldest offspring out, and you can
fulfill those wishes...

When the oldest child turns into a teen have them take three of their
siblings with them when they move out resulting in the 4 spaces you need for
your new ones. That's what I do and it works out fine. Although I think I am
going to stop making family aspiring sims until we get some genetic
diversity happening again.

I test all my hacks, downloaded objects, and general experimenting in
Veronaville. I don't have any 8+ hacks installed, just InSIMinator, teen
whoo-hoo, and that coffee maker that raises everything. But I just had a
couple have 5 sets of twins (then aged the parents). So now there are 2
elders, 2 adults, 2 teens, 2 children, 2 toddlers, and 2 babies. I have 12
family memebers living under one roof! The game is a bit slower, but not as
bad as I thought. Their thumbnails go to the top of the screen in play
mode, however when you're in neighborhood view it will show all 12 people in
their photo, but when you want to see their infomation it only shows 8
thumbnails and names. I don't think I should try for anymore; a) there is
no more room for the thumbnails, and b) I'm just plain afraid of what might
happen.

Hi,

Thank you and Homer for your answer.
I already thought it wouldn't be a good idea to let them have 10 kids
and all in the same house, so I'll wait till the oldest becomes a teen
and then have him move out with some of his brothers and sisters 🙂
