the pc is fine. do i really need a console?

my kid is happy playing wow, fifa, and minecraft on his souped up pc. but there seems be kid pressure to have a console when a friend comes over. do I really have to dump over $500 into a console so two kids can play the same time? im wondering if there is way to mod a pc into a console like device. any thoughts?

I say forget the console! Don't those PC games have multiplayer, too? You can buy Xbox controllers or PS controllers to hook up to the PC.

Sure, you can get some two player games from Steam and then plug a second controller into it. BAM! console.

How old is your kid, and a console is 350$

Make sure your kid would like a console too

Most games on console are not split screen anymore anyways

There is a way to have two people use the same pc for 2 different monitors running windows seperatly but it is extremely expensive
