The pen drive is write-protected. Remove the write-protection

The write protection is enabled by the owner of the pen drive to protect the data that is on it and when it is enabled a password is made so that the owner can disable the write protection when needed.

not always. many come with built-in utilities or software, for example like the U3 system, that you can't delete by normal methods, unless you use the utility the manufactures provides to wipe the U3 bloatware
