The procedure entry point MFTEnumEx could not be found. Help?

Hi,
When i try to open DaVinci Resolve i get the following error message. "The procedure entry point MFTEnumEx could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Resolve.exe."
I have tried downloading the mfplat.dll file and placing it in the folder but this hasn't done anything. Any help would be nice!

From where did you download the installation files for DaVinci Resolve? Are you using the free or Studio version?

im using the free version and i downloaded it from the black magic design website

When you installed Resolve, did you install as administrator?

I would suggest re-downloading and re-installing. Something may have been corrupted during the previous installation. You should not have to manually place system files into specific folders for the application to work properly.

i tried that but instead im just going to try hitfilm i think windows 10 messed up my pc when i installed it ages ago
