Hi guys,
im looking to buy a new motherboard and along with it,ram...here's the mobo with its memory QVL-http://www.msi.com/support/mb/B85MG43.html#support-mem

the ram im looking to buy is
Corsair DDR3 4 GB(1 x 4GB) PC RAM (CMV4GX3M1A1600C11) as im having trouble finding any 4gb ram stick on the qvl

ive noticed that its not on the list...does it mean it wont work?

Thank you,in advance, for the help.

ive noticed that its not on the list...does it mean it wont work? No

as long as its 1.5v and

• Support four DDR3 DIMMs 1066/1333/1600 DRAM, 32GB Max
• Support Dual-Channel mode
• Supports non-ECC, un-buffered memory
• Supports Intel® Extreme Memory Profile (XMP)

I'd get 2x4gb 1600 cl9.

You can also look on the ram website to see if your mobo is listed as being compatible.

No, it does not mean it wont work. It just means it wasnt tested with that mainboard. So if you use it, theres a slight chance that there will be compatibility issues.
My suggestion is going with a different one that has been tested. Geil, G.Skill, Kingston, Corsair, Samsung, Hynix, Micron, those are all good brands.
And why do you say there are no 4 GB sticks on that list? Theres plenty!

crap...should've mentioned that...India...if you can find something in the Indian market on an e-com site...snapdeal,preferably...and a 4gb,preferably...id be really, really grateful...
