the radio icon on on the right of the power icon in my Acer laptop is blinking and making small noise?

When the Acer laptop is on and it is used sometimes the icon near the power icon on the edge of the Acer laptop is blinking blue and making small irritating noise. Where the power icon and the icon on the left of the power icon are steady and in blue colour. The icon next to this one is steady but in red colour. Why the third one is blinking and making noise?

Radio icon sounds like the wireless icon, how do you know the noise is coming from the light? Depending on exactly what light you are talking about, some of them may flicker depending on what the system is doing. Would help if you provided some details about the system, we can't see your icons so "near the power icon" does not really help since there are many Acer models and not all of them have the same status lights.

My lap top is Acer Aspire 5750G

Can't find a good image of the status lights, the drive one may be blinking, and if the drive is not a solid state one it may make some noise while working. The system BIOS may have a disk check utility if the noise sounds off or is new.
