I have a cx550m psu for my ryzen 3 1300x and gtx 1060. I am going to upgrade to ryzen 5 3600 and possibly to the rx 5700. Will that be enough? But will it be enough to power the ryzen cpu.

Solution
The Ryzen 5 3600 CPU is a 65 Watt part when not over clocked. I expect a system like that to run below 300 Watt's most of the time so 550 Watts should be enough! With that said this particular PSU is not a very good one and has a tendency to do uneven fan sounds and suffer coil whine when under load. I recommend you get a better PSU preferably 650 Watts!
