Great list. SSD, Memory, Graphics and Motherboard all show huge benefits but notice there are no Intel or AMD processors on this list :O

Same here I think they came out with a decent line up this year. Also the steam machines were pretty cool as well.

maybe its just me but the R9 290x looks good on paper but so far the execution has been terrible. The limited availability bundled with all the over heating issues. I wonder how many people voted for it because it "New"

I got a Maximus VI Formula. It is just beautiful. I could have gone with a cheaper mobo but wanted to spoil myself for once with a top end one.

last time i get an asus board z68 before that only asrock... same thing but for less price.

And that's the nice thing about mobo's. You can really pick and choose something that fits your needs and even the most expensive mobo is going to be cheaper than the CPU (usually) and sometimes the RAM as well.
