I don't know how to explain it good, but here's the deal -
I want to buy a laptop, which im sure is better than my PC(old), but it's only 1366x768 resolution. My pc's screen native resolution is 1680x1050. Whenever on my pc i set the resolution to 1366x768 or any other 720p resolution, it looks totally awful, like everything's so rough and in the distance everything's so pixelated, and I can't tell if it's a tree or a khajiit with a sword coming to get me. Even with AA on it just looks blurry or something.. And im thinking that's because the native resolution is 1680x1050, the pixels get stretched out or something. Though im not sure if that's how it actually is. Will the 1366x768 graphics look better on the native 1366x768 screen than on the larger 1680x1050 screen? Or if im used to the 1680x1050 graphics, the 720p graphics will just look shit to me wherever i watch? Then I guess i'll need to find a 1600x900 laptop..
Don't know if you will understand me correctly, but i'll try to explain more if you don't.
P.S and don't go telling me to just upgrade my PC or something. I need the laptop.
