I got a coolmaster 212 Evo, to use with an x299 aorus gaming 7 pro. The product page said that it fits with the lga 2066 socket, but when I tried to install the backplate the screws were not long enough. After contacting customer support they just gave me a refund, but I would preferably want to still use this cooler. Is there a workaround or a way to buy longer screws?

Solution
Backplate is not required for LGA2066.

You screw H-type bolts right into those holes in the socket.

Seems like LGA2066 installation doesn't require use of a backplate.
Read the manual.

I have read the manual, and I was a little confused on why it didn't say LGA2066 on the parts pertaining to the backplate. I heard that if you don't have a backplate it can cause your motherboard to deform, so I assumed I needed to install it.
