Hello everyone. I have a question about my new ssd.
I just bought the new nvme m.2 ssd from aorus gigabyte and it's 2TB, (READ up to 5000 MB/s and WRITE up to 4400 MB/s).
So I tested and the result is 3500 READ and 3445 WRITE. My question is why the ssd result isn't like they mentioned , is my motherboard the reason that reduce the ssd speed?
My Motherboard is z390 aorus ultra.
Before i purchase the ssd i asked gigabyte support about if the ssd compatible with my motherboard and they replied:
"You may still use the SSD on PCIe 3.0 slot. Nevertheless, as the slot supports only PCIe 3.0, the data transformation speed will be reduced as well."
