[SOLVED] The SteamVR Test is showing more cores in my CPU than I actually have.

I am deciding on the Oculus Quest or the Rift S. I did the SteamVR Test and it said my system was VR Ready. However, it says that my CPU (i3-7100) has 4 cores. All sources I have read and the "Performance" tab under Task Manager shows that I have 2 cores. I am wondering if this is effecting the results. If it is, and my system is not fully VR Ready, I would get the Quest. If it is even with only two cores, I would get the Rift S

I know but I wonder why it displays that I have 4 cores. I also wonder if this is affecting the results.

Each thread is perceived as a virtual core: it doesn't affect your results.
