Hello,
When i have installed a game on my laptop it says at the end that - "The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation" at the end of the installation and i was unable to play the game! Please help me ASAP!

Solution

IMO, The only reliable way to install gpedit is to upgrade to Vista Ultimate. You cannot successfully reverse engineer Vista Home Premium to install gpedit. There are many (so called) solutions on the net, most of which do not work, and you most likely will screw up your system.

If you are administrator, look in administrative templates of group policy edit to see what you have restricted.

Sorry i don't know that much about computer can you tell me the exact steps to go their and change it! Thanks by the way, after you tell me i will choose this as the best answer!

1) - You need to RUN, gpedit.msc (group policy edit) - Depending on version of VISTA you have, it may not be available. You did not specify, so take a look at these links for assistance.

2) - And this may not solve your problem, so don't select best answer, unless it does !
