[SOLVED] "The system cannot find the file specified" Boot Issue - Windows 11

Hi, I had a new Microsoft Edge update. I clicked on the "..." at the top right and the update said "Recommended Update" and had an amber warning.

I clicked on it, restarted my PC and now I get a "The system cannot find the file specified" on my screen, and it keeps looping on the same error if i press "ok". I don't get any Windows or Motherboard Manufacturer Splash screen. I've tried multiple times booting into my bios, failing every time.

I also tried booting with windows 10 media key no luck their either!

I don't know what to do, any help would be very appreciated.

If it would help, these are my specs:
CPU: i5-10600k
GPU: Asus 1070 8gb
RAM: 32gb
Motherboard: B460M-ITX/ac

if thats during an update... any fix I offer for the error you are getting won't really fix the problem. Because its interrupted the update and thats unlikely to be a good thing.

I can show you how to save any info off C drive you need to keep.

boot from win 10 installer

• on screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install.
• choose troubleshoot
• choose advanced
• choose command prompt
• type notepad and press enter
• in notepad, select file>open
• Use file explorer to copy any files you need to save to USB or hdd

a reset might fix it, you will lose all your installed applications though.
boot from win 10 installer again

• on screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install.
• choose troubleshoot
• Choose reset this pc

choose keep files/settings (Files = library folders. Library folders = Documents, pictures, movies, music (the default folders that come with windows). Settings = logins and desktop)

if reset isn't enough, you probably need to clean install win 11

download either media creation tool (2nd link) or ISO (3rd link) and use it to make a Win 11 installer on USB - https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows11
follow these steps, its mostly the same as 10
