No that's not it Mubarak was told by the Global elite to do someone so crazy that it would have started WW3 and he said no.

I also saw that the governing military council is attempting to make protesting illegal as well.

It's a shame the Egyptians couldn't get some kind of coherent revolutionary council or committee going when the protests and such were going on.

They do that kind of thing in sub-Saharan Africa as well (by medical professionals), but it actually has a purpose in preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS. What they are doing in Egypt and other nations where extremist forms of Islam are the norm is rape.
