The underside (the pin area) of my amd fx 8120 cpu has arctic clean stage 1 and 2 on it what do i do how do i clean it should i clean it or is it fine its been dried for several hours and has slight discoloration on underside where the pins are how do i clean it should i clean it and wil it matter or hurt the cpu function

So far as I can recall one of those is basically Goof Off/Orange cleaner, and the other is akin to Rubbing Alcohol. I don't recall hearing anything about conductivity with that product line, so probably fine? Might wait on a more confident reply....

Keep flushing it with denatured alcohol...spray bottle helps a bit.

I agree, clean it again with isopropyl, let it dry again.
