The usb 3.0 on my case isn't working

My case is a fractal design define r4 and the usb 3.0 ports arent working. I tried my motherboard with a different case and it worked. I think I might have a defective cable. Ive connected fractal desigb support. I was just wondering if you guys had any ideas on how to fix it because.i dont want to have take apart my pc and then put my case in a box to return it.

I'm still waiting on a reply from fractal design. I was just wondering what you guys thought may think it is. I'm not sure what's wrong with it.

If the motherboard works with another case's cable, then the cable that came with your case most likely is defective. Another possibility is a short, but that's unlikely if there are no unused posts under the motherboard.

Fractal Design will just send me a new cable right? I'm not disassembling my pc to return the case. Btw if fractal says I have to return my case can you send me a link to the best cable i can use to replace it.

While waiting for a reply from Fractal Design, you could inspect the cable and verify that you can easily replace it by yourself. If you can remove it, then connect it to another motherboard to make sure it really is defective. In your initial post you wrote "I tried my motherboard with a different case and it worked."; was that before or after you found out it doesn't work in the R4 case?
