The way you usually stream media files on TV?

Now, we can find a lot of different Streaming services, just buy a Smart TV and sign in. The other way is to purchase one of the dongles sticks: Chromecast, Amazon Fire etc.
I have used an app to stream the media without any cables just directly, but do you still use HDMI or just copying on USB to watch videos on TV? Share your thoughts!
