The whole screen went all black when i wanted to adjust my brightness on my sony laptop. I think it might went to 0 brightness

The whole screen went all black when i wanted to adjust my brightness on my sony laptop. I think it might went to 0% brightness. How do i change that now?

The laptop should have shortcut keys to adjust brightness, use those. Even at lowest setting though I have not seen a modern laptop fully shut the screen off.
