hi,i play all my games on 1280*1024 res using a gtx 960,8gb ram and an i5 4440.most gamesrun cool at 60+fps maxed out with nice quality but only the witcher 3,when i max it out it run at 40-50 fps but the pic looks awful and especially the grass and trees. Why!!!

Because you run it at a very low resolution. Objects such as trees and grass aren't very high res to begin with. (because these kind of textures at a very high resolution in addition to their density would mean very low framerates unless you have a very high end setup. Which means that they will appear "less sharp" and blocky, even if you run the game at high settings. If you want higher graphical fidelity, buy a 1080p monitor. Your setup is overkill for 1024p anyway.

Thats because of the difference in density. You have to remember that there is a lot more grass and tree textures in Witcher 3 compared to AC and BF. And that's why it will look sharper in AC and BF, because there are fewer grass and tree textures to render and display on screen. Which is why appear prettier in those games. As I said, if you want a better experience when playing TW3, buy a 1080p monitor.

Try installing the latest grapics driver 353.62 (fixed a lot of crashes for me).

What I mean is, when you install the driver, you choose "custom, advanced", perform a clean install. I would also try and reinstall the driver without geforce experience as it has caused a lot of issues for people (including me).

It is because witcher 3 has very detailed texture quality and also it has a huge open world so the graphics card is meant to provide more bandwidth speed. You can search AMD/ATI gpu 8000 series or r9 series or nvidia gtx titan, and look for overclocked version or "you can overclock your gpu"(this can really help).

Overclocking won't help considering the resolution the OP's running. Both the card and the cpu is probably bottlenecked a lot, and overclocking will definitely not make the situation any better.
