I just got the ASUS ROG gl551jw-ds74 and downloaded the witcher 3 off of steam. As soon as I got out of all of the cut scenes and was in control of Geralt it lagged even on low graphics. Can this computer not handle the game or is there something I can do to fix this?

Laptop Specs:
4th gen i7
NVIDIA GTX 960
16 GB RAM
1 TB hard drvie
128 GB SSD

Solution
try using geforce experience. No its not natural your laptop is capable of handling that game. It is absurd. Did you apply all the patches. Drivers Updated?? Try GTA V on med settings or Assassin's Creed Unity or Far Cry 4. Try any alternate game you got that is heavy and if they do not pose issues then we are back to driver updates and patches but if they do pose issues then i think it would be wise to rma it immediately. Here a link i just checked up.

I downloaded alien isolation and I can run that at anywhere from 40 to 60 fps on max settings and I checked to make sure my driver was updated and it was. What else can I try to do to get the witcher to work?
