"The Witness" was supposed to be released as one of the PlayStation 4's first games, but the team at Thekla Inc. improved and expanded the game to make it a longer experience for players.

It may have taken them a good while to actually get the game ready for primetime but a completion time of 8-12hrs would have been severely disappointing. Props to a company willing to hold out to improve it and give the game some substance rather than just pushing it out the door.

I'm really looking forward to this considering how much I enjoyed Braid.

Interested to see if Jonathan Blowhard's claims check out. Not exactly a guy you can take at his word, so I hope no one's risking a pre-order.
