Nevermind the use of the adjective "intelligent" referring to a freaking NAS. Marketing buzzwords since it doesn't look like it does much more than my four years old DNS-323.

"management of the NAS through a dedicated client instead of a web browser"

I actually consider this to be a backwards move.

Waaay backwards. Remember when switches had dedicated clients instead of browser access? Remote management was a nightmare if not downright impossible.

OT: This is pretty dumb. I don't need my NAS to be intellegent. I need it to be a box.
 
The word "intelligent" for computing devices has become a cliche.

I'd also like to see Standby below 1Watt for a home device that's off most of the time. Intel's new Haswell CPU for NAS will be able to do that.
