If I were to use a PCIe x4 SSD on a HT3.0 4800 MT/s ( 2400 MHz ) system, would it take a performance hit compared to using it on a HT3.0 5200 MT/s ( 2600 MHz ) system?
As I understand, PCI-E 3.0 x4 has a theoretical throughput maximum of 32 Gb/s. I'm having trouble comparing MT/s or MHz to Gb/s, I guess. Or if theoretical speeds even matter.
