Question Theoretical question about the (old) HyperTransport Buss

First, I realize this is a question about older tech. But I sometimes deal with older tech. That said, assuming PCI Express 3.0...
If I were to use a PCIe x4 SSD on a HT3.0 4800 MT/s ( 2400 MHz ) system, would it take a performance hit compared to using it on a HT3.0 5200 MT/s ( 2600 MHz ) system?

As I understand, PCI-E 3.0 x4 has a theoretical throughput maximum of 32 Gb/s. I'm having trouble comparing MT/s or MHz to Gb/s, I guess. Or if theoretical speeds even matter.

Honestly, I think in any system old enough to still be using HT3, the HT link speed isn't going to be your bottleneck, probably more the cpu single thread speed when trying to move data that quickly. Also keep in mind, very few NVME drives (if any) actually fully saturate a PCI-E 3.0 x 4 link.

The Wikipedia page on HT gives some useful info on HT, including the speed in GB/s:

It states HT 3.0 has a bi-directional throughput of 41.6 GB/s
