There is a problem of clock and date settings in my windows xp. When I open my computer the clock and date show for the time of purchasing. After opening the computer I changed the clock and date for the several times. But after shut down it changes again and again. I have recently changed the battery in the mother board.But still there remained the same problem. One of my friends told me that it may be the cause of BIOS problem.

COuld be or bought a bad battery, check to see if you have the latest BIOS, and may see if you can borrow a know good CMOS battery
