Question There is a yellow stain moving around my laptop display

There is a yellow stain moving around my laptop display. At first it was at the bottom, then it moved to the left side and now it is on the top of screen. Why it is happening and how can i fix this? (I use HP Viktus laptop, refresh rate 144Hz).

if it's moving, could be a trapped animal inside

is it moving while you move the lid of the laptop back and forth

Not really seeing a stain per se but I see some shading in the fixed imgur image.

When did the "stain" appear?

Any recent updates, app installs, laptop drops, something set on the laptop, etc.?

Try changing to two or three other desktop backgrounds. Determine if the stain continues or disappears.

And if moving - any relationship to the mouse cursor?
