it is in my screen! It is already sead but its still there and its inside my monitor with a small lump when you feel it also. How do i remove it do i just send it back in to LG?

Solution
I did actually end up taking mine apart and putting it back together. Was a bit nerve-racking, but seems to work fine.

I was super nervous though, and didn't completely get rid of the dot.

This will, of course, void your warranty. And I'd taken apart several LCD panels out of dead all-in-ones before, so had a good idea of what to expect.

Feel lucky.
My guy was still walking around inside !

Omg thats crazy!!! The one in mine is one of those big ants. I wish i could figure out how to post a pic on here to show ya.

This was just a little tiny guy. Now dead. I pushed just a bit too hard, and squished him.
Now a perm little tiny blob.

For yours? You probably can't really remove him.

Cant i like apart the monitor? I have taken many laptop monitors apart but never did anything with a desktop monitor before.

I was afraid it would come to this…listen up, and do EXACTLY what I say, or you might destroy your monitor
Step 1. Firmly grasp your monitor with both hands
Step 2. Proceed to snap said monitor over you knees
Step 3. Buy a new monitor
Step 4. Enjoy said monitor

Ok guys i took my monitor apart completely and spreading the Panel from the back light and got a credit card with a micro fiber cloth over it and i carefully removed the "Dead" and from it and used some Windex/Alcohol 99% to clean the "Ants" bodily fluids it left behind from getting squashed. After i completely cleaned it i got some Black electrical tape and i went around the Back light and Panel covering every single nick and cranny so no ants will get in it again. Now i have it back together and let me tell you this, not only is my Ant problem gone but so is my IPS Bleeding! I can not see it Bleeding anywhere even with a black image and no lights on and brightness all the way up it looks better than it ever has i can not believe that black tape fixed it! It was also the most easiest thing i have every worked on in my life and only took a minute or two to fix it and another minute to seal it. So if anyone ever has something stuck inside their monitor, and if you have at least small amount some skills with Monitors or such please do not be an idiot and throw it away and waste money on a new one like some people on here has said, just be a man and and give it a shot. I mean if your warranty is already dead why not try. I also took apart my other 2 monitors to fix their back light bleeding and it worked 100% also! I am a really happy guy right now! 😀

OT: the ant was clearly interested in the Crucial SSD you were looking at

I know what you mean man i was super careful i have worked on dozens of monitors but only Laptop ones. In my crazy mind i guess i thought Desktop monitors were different lol. But i have no idea how it stopped the IPS Glow i mean wow i guess my LG monitors were loose idk but it worked great! I am so happy because i replaced my LG monitor 3 times and just gave up because all of them were bad about IPS glow in the same place.
